Absolute evaluation or Relative evaluation
Introduction
My survey title was “Absolute evaluation or Relative evaluation”. The reason why I choose this title was the college scholastic ability test will be change absolute evaluation after several years. Therefore, most students, school parent, teacher were into this evaluation change. Through this survey, (1)investigate the college students’ opinion to absolute evaluation. (2) The respondents degree of evaluation method change relative evaluation to absolute evaluation.

Method
This survey was composed 14 questions. The 4 questions included about respondents information, 4 questions included investigate degree of concern in English and evaluation, and the rest 6 question included an observation about absolute evaluation. It was hypothesized that the college students, especially, preliminary teacher, would agree with the evaluation method will be change relative to absolute evaluation. Furthermore, based on the conclusion of survey we could evaluate to ‘Absolute evaluation’ view objectively.

Information of respondents
The survey respondents total is 3. The three person participate in this survey. Two person was male, another one person was female. The age of respondents were one person 22 years old, another person is 23 years old. All respondents were students and all of their major in English education.
Investigate degree of concern in English and evaluation
In this part, there was 4 questions about investigate degree of concern in English and evaluation. First, the degree of concern was positive. The two people degree of concern 3 point in 1 to 5 point. (5 point is very interested in English education) Another one person given 5 point this questions. In addition, the importance of evaluation method gives equally 3,4,5 point. The important thing was the respondents 67%, evaluated by relative evaluation. Only one person (33%) evaluated by absolute evaluation. Furthermore, most of respondents were satisfied their evaluation. The 67% people given 3 points.

Observation about absolute evaluation
The interest thing this part, most of respondents were already knew well absolute evaluation. The questions what advantage absolute evaluation, one person answer “It is clear, fare, and literally absolute. No questions about the grades”, and other respondents’ also alike responses. However, disadvantage answer was difference. One respondent answer this question, “It can split the students according just with the numbers given to students, ignoring other kinds of potentiality of the students.” On the other hand, another respondent answered “It can decrease of whole English level”. Heretofore, the questions were focused on opinion about the absolute evaluation of respondents. However, the rest questions ask to respondents’ absolute evaluation directly. The interest thing was most respondents responded to negatively about absolute evaluation. The absolute evaluation’s effected of four part (English ability, private education, motivation of students, qualitative evaluation), most respondents negative responded. In most of part, they were responded it will be no effect.
Conclusion

Interestingly, in the last question, reveal the responses were the reversal. The question was agreed with the evaluation change relative to absolute. In the before above questions, respondents were responded negatively about absolute evaluation. However, the 66% of the people responded more 5 points on a 8 point likert scale in the degree of change method to evaluation because they was all student now, from the standpoint of students, they choose absolute evaluation was more effect to themselves.
